Our Katherine Hostel aged care facility is an open-plan environment, situate alongside the Katherine River. With trees, foliage and well-planned grassy areas, it’s a peaceful place, tucked away from the busy streets in Katherine.
While airconditioning is available, most people like to keep their doors open to feel the lovely breezes and cool down in the Territory heat. There are 30 beds, and each person has their own ensuited room. All meals are prepared fresh on site and served in the common dining room.
At ARRCS Katherine Hostel, our dedicated staff learn about the local communities – the people and the cultures – and we work hard to make sure you feel as comfortable as possible.
‘I like it here. I get lonely out on the farm. I’ve got a lot of friends here and I enjoy the company of the others living here’ – Katherine Hostel resident, Betty Jarman
