Chair of the Board

Brian was appointed to the Board in 2021 and as the Chair of the Board since 1 July 2024. As a proud Torres Strait Islander and Papua New Guinean man, he’s committed to improving outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples across the Northern Territory. He brings over 15 years’ experience in investments, governance, and strategic leadership, with a career spanning both public and private sector. Brian currently serves as the Chief Investment Officer at Aboriginal Investment NT, a corporate Commonwealth entity dedicated to driving economic self-determination and building long-term, intergenerational wealth for Aboriginal communities. Brian holds a Bachelor of Business, Masters of Financial Planning, Masters of Social Change Leadership and has also completed the AICD Company Directors Course.
